Application planning
Germany Master application checklist for students from Pakistan
A clear planning checklist for programme research, academic evidence, language documents, portals, deadlines, and final submission review.
1. Verify the programme itself
Use the official university programme page as the final authority. Confirm the degree title, teaching language, intake, deadline, academic prerequisites, language evidence, application route and any programme-specific fee.
2. Map your academic background
Prepare your degree certificate or current enrolment evidence, transcripts and the course information needed to demonstrate subject coverage. Do not infer an ECTS requirement when the programme publishes only qualitative wording.
3. Prepare identity and language evidence
Check passport validity and make sure names are consistent. Confirm whether the programme accepts your test type, score, test date and medium-of-instruction evidence; requirements vary by programme.
4. Identify every portal step
Classify the application as uni-assist, VPD plus direct portal, direct university portal, or another official route. Existing portal accounts should be recovered rather than duplicated. Email verification, OTPs, payments and declarations need time and may require your direct action.
5. Review before the irreversible step
Compare the chosen programme and intake with your shortlist, inspect every uploaded file, review declarations and payment details, and retain the final confirmation. A saved draft is not evidence of submission.
