Your guided route

From qualification check to Bachelor eligibility

Studyssey separates each decision and milestone so you always know what is required next.

01

Assess your qualification

We review your Intermediate, HSSC, A-level, or IB route and intended Bachelor field before suggesting a next step.

02

Build German readiness

Studienkolleg classes and entrance tests are usually in German. Each provider sets its accepted certificate and level.

03

Choose the right focus course

Your intended subject determines the relevant T, M, W, G, or S focus course and the degrees it can lead to.

04

Apply and prepare for admission

Shortlist suitable providers, organise documents, and track application and entrance-test milestones in one place.

05

Complete Studienkolleg and FSP

After the preparatory course, pass the Feststellungsprüfung to qualify for related Bachelor programmes.

06

Continue to Bachelor applications

Use the result for subject-related applications. The receiving university makes the final eligibility and admission decision.

Focus courses

Your target field determines your course

Focus-course availability and the degrees accepted afterward vary by Studienkolleg and university. We match both the subject route and provider requirements instead of treating every course as interchangeable.

T course

Engineering, mathematics, computer science, and natural sciences

M course

Medicine, pharmacy, biology, and related life sciences

W course

Business, economics, and selected social-science subjects

G course

Humanities, arts, German studies, and selected social sciences

S course

Language-focused degree routes where offered

What is available in Studyssey now

  • Qualification and route assessment
  • German-readiness and focus-course guidance
  • Studienkolleg catalogue matching
  • Document checklist and progress tracking
  • Application, entrance-test, and FSP milestones

Important boundary

Studyssey provides screening, matching, and workflow tracking. It does not guarantee eligibility or admission, and the final decision belongs to each Studienkolleg or university.

Understand the costs clearly

Your Studyssey pathway assessment and matched Studienkolleg catalogue are free. Shortlisting providers, document verification, and tracking run on the Foundation plan: €50 once, with nothing due later. Public Studienkollegs generally do not charge tuition, but this does not make the full journey cost-free.

Often required

Semester contribution, application fees, German courses and exams, visa costs, health insurance, and living funds.

Provider differences

Private Studienkollegs can charge tuition. Public-provider rules and contributions also vary by institution.

No Bachelor service price yet

We will show any future paid assistance separately before you commit. Master pricing does not apply to this pathway.

Verify before applying

Always confirm the current language, document, deadline, and fee rules on the provider’s official page.
